Motivated by this gap, Bradley founded the Canadian Firefighter Cancer Foundation to create a national platform that supports firefighters and their families while advancing awareness, prevention, and stronger protections. His vision is rooted in compassion, credibility, and action — ensuring that firefighters receive the recognition, resources, and advocacy they deserve.
Bradley believes that no firefighter should face a cancer diagnosis alone. The foundation was built to connect firefighters with trusted information, promote early detection and prevention practices, and advocate for policy improvements that better protect those who serve. By bringing together firefighters, departments, health professionals, researchers, and policymakers, CFCF aims to foster collaboration and drive meaningful change across the country.
In addition to supporting those currently affected, Bradley is committed to protecting future generations of firefighters. Through education, awareness initiatives, and planned events such as the “Science of Survival” conference, the foundation will continue to promote research-driven solutions and encourage proactive health and safety practices within the fire service.
The creation of CFCF reflects Bradley’s dedication to honouring those lost to occupational cancer, supporting those currently fighting, and safeguarding the future of Canada’s firefighters. His mission is simple yet powerful: ensure that every firefighter and family knows they are supported, informed, and never alone.
